August 20th | 6:30-9pm
MILL CREEK FOURSQUARE CHURCH
1415 164TH St SW
Lynnwood WA 98037
This workshop will be located in the smaller building, "The Lounge".
WHAT & WHY
Catered to both the beginner and experienced artist learning how to create something beautiful for display in their home. Learn to make a unique natural-colored basket from scratch with the option to add color accents. This basket will be the perfect accent piece to any one of your living spaces, or perfect to fill with some of your favorite things!
Check in, mingle, and munch on light Mexican infused appetizers, sweets and beverages. Enjoy 15 minutes of storytelling from the Founder before kicking off the art session. The teaching portion will be 2 hours, with the option to stay an additional 15 minutes for final touches and fun photography.
Note: Depending on the size of basket you desire to make, and your working speed, you may or may not finish the basket here in class. But we will make sure you master the basics before you head home with you your remaining raffia and needle.
